Robert J. (Bob) and Leigh Steele Guest Teachers Both are Life Members and Examiners of the Federal Association of Teachers of Dancing (Aust) Ltd. and Honourary Life Members of New Zealand Federation of Dance Teachers Inc. They recently retired from Administrative roles after running the Federal Association of Teachers of Dancing for 24 years, Bob as Chief Executive Officer and Championship Organiser and Leigh as his P.A. Both are Licensed Coaches, Adjudicators & Scrutineers with Dancesport Australia. They are current IDSF World & International Adjudicators. Their qualifications are extensive: Leigh: Licentiate (H.C) Ballroom, Latin American, New Vogue with FATD Qualified Scrutineer with DSA. Bob: Fellow (H.C) Ballroom, Latin American, New Vogue with FATD Member (H.C) Old Time with FATD Life Member, Fellow (H.C) Ballroom & Latin with ISTD (London, UK) Member (H.C) Ballroom with IDTA (London, UK) Member (H.C) Latin American with NATD (London, UK) Fellow (H.C) Ballroom with SATD (Aust) Qualified Scrutineer O.B.B.D, London (now BDC) & DSA Currently a member of the Dancesport Australia Commisions for Rules and Accreditation. Previously held Dance Sport Administrative Roles Include: 5 terms as Secretary and 2 terms as Chairman of ADB (prior to establishment of DSA) Inaugural member of the National Council and National Executive. Both are still recognised as top Dancesport Coaches in: Standard Ballroom, Latin American, English Old Time, and New Vogue.
